One week into this quarantine and I’m finding myself bombarded with suggested schedules. Schedules for keeping kids in the school mindset, schedules for screen time, schedules for swapping technology devices to keep up with the schedules...It’s a lot.

Chaos is not a state in which many of us enjoy living, but God is profoundly present in the eye of the storm. Churches all over the world are working long hours figuring out how to stay connected to their congregations. In our forced isolation, we are suddenly mourning the same gatherings that were once lightly penciled onto our calendars. But there is a beauty to this hunger for connection - it is a reminder of what we were made for, to live the Eucharistic life. While we are busy searching for new ways to connect to the outside world, let us not forget that there is a small representation of the Church within our own homes. Have you prayerfully surrendered this unprecedented time to the Lord, seeking what he has for your family?

This is a mini-series meant to encourage. Rather than giving you another schedule to jam into days that you are creating completely from scratch, these posts will provide a few easy ways to recapture and rededicate the time that we have.
